Factions Reset Today!
this evening most likely around 7 PM Eastern time the new factions will be opened

Here are some of the features of the server, some you know, some you can look forward to!
- 1.8 server software, and anyone from minecraft 1.7 and higher can join! TNT mechanics are setup to be like how they were in 1.7, along with PVP mechanics
- new main world spawn built by build team and new KoTH area
- epic world generator plugin used, tweaked to be less hilly and leafy than last map
- GUI admin shop, now with a PvP shop and Cannon materials shop (commands: /shop /spawnershop /pvpshop and /cannonshop)
- Epic Spawners plugin is back, upgradeable spawners to 10x. They can also now be sold back to the shop. (chunk limit still is 32!)
- auction house for selling stuff, command /ah
- rentable shops in the player market world will be staying since we have the GUI admin shop
- cosmetic decorations plugins like Banner Maker /bm and HeadShop /headshop

AFK nerf on SkyBlock, SkyGrid, and Survival

A while ago I made a thing where mobs did not drop anything unless killed by unnatural causes but it was not liked at all. I have changed that so there is now a 50% chance of no drops instead, and re-enabled it. Keep in mind attacks, poisons, projectiles are still 100%. This will make it so you can still afk at your spawner farms, but you will get half as much income as manually grinding them. This change is done to reward players for being active, and to help reduce the infinite money inflation spawner machine. Whether you like this change or not, I think you can agree that at least some changes like this are necessary.

old stuff

On kitpvp, factions, and cannon there will be newer version support, however It will be recommended to use the 1.8 version of minecraft for a better pvp experience, as these three servers will be on actual 1.8:

• factions/cannon - will be converted on the October 27 reset (yes 1.7 style cannons should work)
• kitpvp - already on 1.8
• prison, skywars, hungergames, infection, minigames - will remain on actual 1.12 but have 1.8+ support. These gamemodes I MIGHT convert to actual 1.8 in the future, but for now since they are not as "serious pvp" modes I think they will be fine like this, we will see

non-pvp servers have older version support to join, but it is recommended to use 1.12 on these servers for the new blocks and such:

• survival, dropper, parkour, spleef, skyblock, skygrid, bending, creative, hub
• CTF will have support only down to 1.9 due to the setup of the kits and maps being designed specifically for the...
